Welcome visits for all newborn babies

All parents with newborn babies in Monheim am Rhein are visited and receive a welcome folder, vouchers and a gift from the mayor. During a short conversation, information is provided on holistic parent-child services, application procedures, support options and financial assistance.

The Mo.Ki “under 3” team works with the Marte Meo method in various areas. Marte Meo is a method for fostering development through video support. It is based on recording everyday situations between caregivers and children on video and then discussing them together. The aim is to recognize and emphasize strengths. All new parents receive a voucher for three Marte Meo sessions as part of the newborn baby visit.
