Administration of Monheim am Rhein

Be it a matter of a registration, a marriage, planning permission or a housing benefit application, the Administration handles a wide range of tasks and takes care of the most diverse concerns. The central contact point in the City Hall is the Bürgerbüro, or Municipal Services Office.

Since November 1, 2025, the independent Mayor Sonja Wienecke has served as head of the administration and chairman of the Council. She also heads the Administrative Board, which includes Treasurer Nina Richter (in an advisory capacity) as well as Ella Luff and Martin Frömmer.
