The Mo.Ki team organizes courses, offers and activities relating to the topics of pregnancy, birth and health.
Pregnant women, fathers-to-be and young parents can seek advice from a family midwife on the topics of contraception, pregnancy, birth, health and child nutrition. The counselling is voluntary, free of charge and subject to confidentiality. It is not necessary to make an appointment.
Prenatal classes help expectant parents to prepare for one of the biggest events in their lives. All questions concerning pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period are discussed, such as the course of the pregnancy, pain relief and the significant time after the birth. As this is a closed course, registration is required.
During pregnancy, the female body undergoes many changes. Targeted postpartum exercise – at the earliest six to eight weeks after birth – not only stabilizes and strengthens the pelvic floor, but also strengthens the abdominal, back and leg muscles. Mothers can take part in the postpartum course up to 10 times, and babies can of course be brought along. Registration is required, but the course is free of charge.
Yoga for pregnant women
Breathing and relaxation exercises are taught to increase your own well-being. The wishes of the course participants are taken into account as the course progresses. The course is aimed at women from the 15th week of pregnancy. The consent of the gynecologist should be obtained in advance. It is possible to join the course at any time.
